In this screencast I answer a user question regarding the sound mixer under Lubuntu and show you how to adjust your mixer volumes with alsamixer and gnome-alsamixer.

Thanks a lot for the great screencast. :-) I just want to note that the mixer of the pulse-audio-server used in Lubuntu works fine either. The package is called "pavucontrol" and afaik it's not having many dependencies to other packages. Keep up your great work. *thumbs up*

Pavucontrol requires Pulseaudio to be installed which is not installed by default in Lubuntu.
